It was a concert of great musical stories, of the manifold connections between tradition and modernity from different worlds, played with virtuosity, according to the unanimous feedback of the enthusiastic guests, when the Joolaee Trio played pieces from its then latest album "Morgenwind" in the Stadtstadel in 2024.
This was reason enough to again invite the Iranian-German trio, which performs throughout Europe. In the successful line-up with Misagh Joolaee on the Kamantsche, Schaghajegh Nosrati on the grand piano and Sebastian Flaig on the percussion instruments, they presented their latest compositions at the second concert, which, as everywhere they have been presented so far, also left a fascinated, emotionally moved audience in the Stadtstadel. It is the unusual sound space that the three outstanding musicians create with their rare combination of instruments that completely captivated the audience again. The trio compositions by Misagh Joolaee were supplemented by solo pieces of the musicians, who focused on the pure sound of the individual instruments in contrast to the interplay. A touching evening with great variety.
