The journey of the Christmas elf Fridolin
Finally, the hard work of the pre-Christmas season is done and Elf Fridolin has time to travel and enjoy life. This is how the little Christmas gnome greeted the children and their big companions. Eight stations, from Munich's Circus Krone through quiet forests to Vienna and Naples, to Paris and back to Norway, the little gnome crossed Europe by day and by night. At each station, he and the children listened to the appropriate works such as the Clowns by Kabelevsky, Forrest Gump, Mozart's Sonata facile and his Turkish March, the Neapolitan Dance by Tchaikovsky, improvisations on the lively life in Paris, Claire de Lune by Debussy as well as Nocturne by Chopin and finally Grieg's composition Kobold. Finally at home with his family, they greeted him with Beethoven's Für Elise. Larissa Richter had lovingly worked out the program especially for this afternoon. She performed it with great empathy and thus inspired young and old for the beautiful classical works. A pleasure on a cold afternoon in January.
