A musical highlight awaited the audience when the Luz y Sombra Trio from Berlin was a guest in the Stadtstadel. With great joy of playing, unusual creativity and absolute virtuosity, the three musicians Miriam Erttmann, violin, Cora Rott, clarinet and bass clarinet, and her colleague Katja Steinhäuser, piano, presented their latest program "Encuentro". It was not only the compositions of Astor Piazzolla that inspired the audience. Embedded in his life story, outstanding pieces by important companions as well as composers who have had a significant influence on his work complemented the selection of music. Whether Bach, Ginastera, Bartók or Stravinsky, their influence was clearly visible in the works of Piazzolla. In addition to the wonderful narrative style, it was also the brilliance and lightness of the acting that carried the audience along. A special evening, in the spirit of the theme of the exhibition "Echo of Thoughts".
