Three outstanding young talents, recipients of numerous international awards and with many performances under their belts, played together for the first time as a trio at the Stadtstadel. They came together through their current studies at the Kronberg Academy in Kronberg/Taunus and the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris. Jeremie Moreau, a pianist from Paris, put together a program that spanned several musical eras and invited his fellow student Clara Yuna Friedensburg, a cellist from Oslo, and his brother David Moreau, a violinist also from Paris. Both families share a multi-generational love for first-class chamber music and its rigorous training, which has already resulted in exceptional musical quality at a young age. The string instruments of the cellist and violinist, from the 19th and 18th centuries and loaned by renowned music foundations, blended magnificently with the Bechstein grand piano at the Stadtstadel. With their lively, energetic, and passionate performance, they presented pieces by Haydn (Trio No. 39), Mendelssohn (Trio in C minor), and Paul Schoenfeld’s Cafe Music in such a fresh and youthful manner that no one in the audience could resist their musical charm. The hall at the Stadtstadel vibrated with the rhythm of their playing. Many guests also experienced the visual world of Christine Krämer in a new and profound way through the music. Everyone agreed that these three talents, currently aged between 17 and 25, are destined for remarkable musical careers. Plans are already underway for another concert with this trio at the Stadtstadel.
